Samagra Shiksha is the Government of India's integrated centrally sponsored scheme for school education, treating it as a continuum from pre-primary to Class 12. It merged three earlier schemes — Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education. It funds access, equity, quality and the support structures such as Cluster and Block Resource Centres.
In Indian schools
Samagra Shiksha is a government funding-and-support framework for the system, not a tool a single school runs. An individual school's own job — admissions, fees, attendance and records — remains, and that is where a school management system fits.
