ICSE is the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, the Class 10 examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), a private national board. It is known for a broad, English-medium curriculum. The corresponding Class 12 examination under the same council is the ISC, the Indian School Certificate.
In Indian schools
As with any board, ICSE sets the curriculum and the examinations, while the school runs its own admissions, fees and registers. A school management system covers that administrative side; it does not sit the board exams or publish their results.
