Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect personal information — on this website and in the RaivatEdu product.

This is a starting template. Have it reviewed by your legal counsel before publishing.

This document is identical in every country. It is the agreement with RaivatEdu Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; nothing on this page varies by market.

1. Who we are

RaivatEdu provides software for educational institutions. For website visitors we are the data controller; for student and family data stored in the product, the institution is the controller and we act as its processor.

2. What we collect

Information you give us through forms (name, work email, phone, institution and message).

Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working and, through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to see how the site is used (see Analytics and cookies).

3. How we use it

To respond to your enquiry or demo request, provide the service, send account and billing messages and — only with your consent — our newsletter.

4. Analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to count page views and to record which buttons and links are clicked, where on the page they sit, and when a demo or contact form is started or successfully sent. It never records what you type into a form.

When analytics cookies are allowed, Google Analytics sets the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> to tell visits apart. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and sharing ad data with Google are switched off for every visitor.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland start with analytics cookies off; everyone else starts with them on. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, that counts as declining. A choice you make in the cookie banner applies over either default.

With analytics cookies off, no _ga cookies are set. Google Analytics may still receive basic signals that a page was loaded, without cookies (Google Consent Mode).

The site also uses Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft, which records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling and pointer movement) to produce heatmaps and session replays. Clarity's default masking is on, so text typed into form fields is not captured. With analytics allowed, Clarity can set first-party cookies such as _clck and _clsk. Clarity is told your banner choice (or Global Privacy Control signal) with advertising storage always denied; if you have not chosen, Clarity applies Microsoft's default for your region.

If you choose a country from the country switcher, that choice is kept in a first-party cookie named market so the site can show you the right market on later visits. It holds a two-letter country code and nothing else: no identifier, no tracking value. Clearing this site's data removes it.

Your choice of analytics cookies is kept in your browser's local storage. To change it, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, or clear this site's data in your browser. Questions: [email protected].

5. Student data in the product

Institutions decide what student and family data to store. We process it only to provide the service, under a data processing agreement, and never sell it or use it for advertising.

6. Sharing

We share data only with sub-processors that help us run the service (such as hosting and email delivery), under contracts that protect it. Website usage data is processed by Google for Google Analytics and by Microsoft for Microsoft Clarity, as described above.

7. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Institutions can export and delete their workspace data.

8. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data by emailing [email protected].
