UDISE stands for the Unified District Information System for Education, the Ministry of Education's database of schools, now run as UDISE+. A UDISE code is the 11-digit unique identifier assigned to each recognized school in that system. Schools report annual data — enrolment, teachers, facilities — against this code, and it is widely used to identify a school in official processes.

Reporting against a UDISE code is far easier when a school already keeps accurate, current enrolment and staff numbers in one place rather than reconstructing them from spreadsheets each year. RaivatEdu keeps that single record of students and batches the year round.
