CTET is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

CTET stands for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, a national examination conducted by CBSE to certify a candidate's eligibility to teach in central-government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas. Paper I qualifies a candidate to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper II Classes 6 to 8. Many states run their own equivalent, the State TET, for state-government schools.

In Indian schools

CTET is about who is qualified to be hired as a teacher, which is a recruitment and HR matter rather than something a school ERP conducts. Once a teacher is on staff, the system's job is to hold the record and control access, not to run the eligibility test.
