In short
What does certificates do in RaivatEdu?
RaivatEdu issues course completion certificates against a student's course, with a template editor so the wording is yours rather than ours, and a revision history that keeps every earlier version of the text. Certificates are not verifiable through the product: there is no verification token, no revoke, and no uniqueness constraint on the certificate number, so we do not describe them as verifiable or tamper-proof.

What certificates does today.
Every line here is a feature that exists in the product right now. Anything still being built is listed further down, on the same page.
01
Issue against a course
A certificate is issued against a student's course, and the course is required before it can be issued. That is a small rule that prevents the most common certificate mistake: a completion record with nothing behind it.
- Completion certificates per student
- Course required before issuing
02
Your wording, not a fixed template
The certificate text is edited in a template editor. Institutes care about this more than most software expects: the wording is a signature of the place, and a generic sentence undermines the document.
- Template editor for the certificate text
- Wording set by your institute
03
Revision history on the text
Every change to the certificate wording is kept as a revision. A year later, when somebody asks why a 2025 certificate reads differently from a 2026 one, the answer is on the record.
- Every wording change stored as a revision
- Earlier versions remain readable
Where this stops
What certificates does not do.
We would rather you read this before you buy than discover it in week two. If something here is a requirement for you, tell us and we’ll be straight about the timeline.
Ask us about a gap- Certificates are not verifiable through the product. There is no verification token and no revoke, and the certificate number carries no uniqueness constraint, so we do not call them verifiable or tamper-proof.
- There is no QR check or public lookup for a certificate issued from this module.
FAQ
Certificates, answered plainly.
Yes. The certificate text is edited in a template editor, so the wording belongs to your institute rather than being fixed by us.
It is kept. Every change to the certificate text is stored as a revision, so earlier versions stay readable and you can explain why an older certificate reads differently.
No, and we are explicit about it. There is no verification token, no revoke, and no uniqueness constraint on the certificate number, so nothing in the product lets a third party confirm a certificate is genuine. If verification matters to you, treat that as a gap and talk to us about it rather than assuming it is there.
Yes. The course is required, which stops a completion certificate being issued with nothing behind it.
No. There is no QR check or public lookup for certificates issued from this module.
