NEP stands for the National Education Policy. The NEP 2020 is India's overarching policy for school and higher education, replacing the 1986 policy. Among its school-level changes are a new 5+3+3+4 curricular structure, a foundational stage that includes early-childhood years, a focus on foundational literacy and numeracy, and mother-tongue or regional-language instruction in the early grades.
In Indian schools
NEP reshapes stages and pedagogy, but a school still admits students, collects fees and keeps a register under any structure. RaivatEdu runs that administrative layer, so a school can adopt NEP's stages — Bal Vatika and the foundational stage included — without changing how its office works.
